Liability Insurance for Entertainers
GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE INFORMATION
PEEP Insurance is our association sponsor. Dale Wittick CPCU, PEEP’s founder, has been in the insurance industry since 1990 and has specialized in insuring entertainers in the United States since 2005 when he started the online insurance program for NAME. Dale was involved in the creation of ISHA and remains active on the executive board since our association’s inception. In July 2024, he was responsible for creating our first vendor benefit by issuing ISHA our own master insurance policy, providing national rates. Our master insurance policy offers the lowest annual cost for general liability insurance in all of the USA.
Based on your needs, PEEP offers $1,000,000 $2,000,000 or even $5,000,000 general liability insurance limits. Additional insured certificates are free and computer processed within a minute and emailed to you. You also receive a receipt for your taxes at the time of your purchase.
We have some members that have not had stage hypnotist insurance for a while, include adult material (think R or X rated movie) in their performances, or use hypnosis other than for entertainment without buying Professional Error & Omissions insurance. For those members, PEEP has access to other insurance companies as well.
As part of the PEEP Sponsorship, association members are offered insurance council for any insurance question or concern you may have. Simply call PEEP for your answer(s).
We suggest completing the PEEP online application on their website www.PEEPinsurance.com and then call PEEP at 215-733-7467 / 215-PEEP-INS for a brief review and receive your quote.
Please note: Canadian stage hypnotists can only purchase insurance from a Canadian insurance broker. That rule was put in place by the Canadian Insurance Department to retain all premiums and commissions within Canada. 🇨🇦
IF USA insurance companies and USA brokers can be fined if they place insurance for any Canadian entertainer domiciled in Canada. IF you are Canadian and are domiciled in the USA, we suggest you call PEEP Insurance.
